Douglas cruise to record win
Douglas beat Oswestry 107-15 at Port-e-Chee to record their highest ever league score running in seventeen tries in the process. They led 59-0 at half time with first half scores from Adam Boyd (2), Guy Wood (2), Simon Hoddinott (2), Conor Stephens (2) and Max Singer. Bryn Snellgrove added seven conversions. In the second half Boyd picked up another two, there was a hat trick from Lance Wyllie, Guy Wood and Conor Stephens both completed their hat tricks and Will Cain chipped in with one for himself. Snellgrove added a further 4 conversions.

Douglas Celts move into Shimmin Wilson Trophy Final
Douglas Celts beat Ramsey B 110-7 at Port-e-Chee to secure their place in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy Final where they will play Southern Nomads. Among the Douglas scorers were Max Morley-green, Michael Hodgson, Ryan Preston, Josh Carine, Len Thompson, Eddy Laou and Carl Conroy. Ramsey skipper James Wren picked up his side’s consolation try as their season came to a juddering end.
