Dear Supporters,
We are all navigating through uncertain times, working from home, home schooling, not to mention the increase in booze bills. It is a difficult period and the most important thing ultimately is for everyone to stay safe.
We can´t express enough how important your support is to Douglas Rugby and, on behalf of all the players and coaching team, we would like to thank you for your continues support of the club. It is so important that all of us remain united during this unprecendented time.
Rugby has rightly paused for a while, as the focus turns to the welfare of everyone in the community. We urge you to stay safe by following the advice from the NHS and where you can, please try to help the most vulnerable during this period.
We appreciate that the current situation is out of our hands and we are being patient to see how it will develop. With no TT Campsite and no bar revenue, a united approach to the future is more important than ever.
However, if the last few weeks have shown me anything, it is that we have a club to be proud of.
Planning for next season is progressing well, and I truly believe that we will be a force to be reckoned with.
We will be back as a team with a vengeance as soon as we can!
