Seven new Douglas Celt starters against Castletown all performed well. After a patchy first 10 minutes, Douglas took the match by the throat and went into half-time 45-0 to the good. Max Morley, Cal Carine and Karl Evans were influential, and Charlie Henthorn continues to impress. Martin Higgins made a cameo guest appearance for Town but once Carine had notched up a hat trick of tries and Morley weighed in with two more, the contest was over. Henthorn, skipper Mark Shortland and Evans chipped in with one apiece and Morley knocked over 8 conversions.
