Our first game of the season saw Douglas combined U/10 and U/11s take on their Western Vikings counterparts as the curtain raiser to the Douglas Celts v Western Vikings at Port-e-Chee. A slow start for Douglas in the first half meant that Vikings were 4-0 up at the break. A half time “briefing” woke Douglas up and they made a spirited come back to pull level. Three late tries by Vikings clinched the deal and 7-4 victors, but great effort and spirit was shown by both sets of players.

Douglas juniors and mini’s train every Sunday at 14.00 at Douglas Rugby Club, and everyone is welcome to come along and join in.
