Table-toppers Northwich will travel to Port-e-Chee conscious of the 20-17 defeat inflicted on their last visit in March 2015. Although top of Division One, it is by virtue of games played, second placed West Park having two in hand. Northwich have lost three to date, including to Winnington Park at the beginning of the season.
Douglas will still be without Glyn Hooson-Owen, as a leg injury stubbornly refuses to heal, but Niall Killey could be back after a long term injury. The squad includes new signing winger Adam Boyd but last week’s try scorer Nick Hughes and flanker Akkie Van Den Berg are off-Island, while KWC winger Duncan Wilson is injured and Australian winger Will Archer unavailable.
If Beaumont in the Douglas boiler-house gets fired up alongside Winrow, the front five on an inevitably soft ground at Port-e-Chee could be key.
Squad - Jareth Mackay, Carl Markyl-Ferns, Chris Bollen, Dom Winrow, Chris Beaumont, Craig Magee, Paul Leivers, Noel Capewell, Dion Spice, Bryn Snellgrove, Will Cain, Ben Webb, Lance Wylie, Shaun Wylie, Luke Hyland, Scott Goodall, Adam Boyd, Karl Evans, Laurie Williams.
