Message from Mike one of our Co-captains, this was his last season at the club.  We thank Mike for his commitment to the club and wish him all the best for his future.

Hi DRUFC family,

I hope everyone is well and staying safe during this difficult time. I’m sure you’re missing rugby just as much as us players are, and we look forward to seeing you down at Port-e-Chee hopefully sometime soon.

I just wanted to say a few thank-you’s on behalf of the players for the season just been. Firstly to the supporters who come down each week, cheering us on and acting as our 16th man come rain (usually) or shine.

Secondly to the volunteers and staff at the club. This includes kitchen volunteers, bar staff, groundsmen, kids coaches and all the other people who help the club run. Your work is appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed.

Last and certainly not least I’d like to thank the 1st XV sponsors for your support. Without you we simply wouldn’t be able to compete at the level at which we do. We hope to be able to rely on your continued support next season and look forward to seeing you all soon.

Tomorrow, we learn something about Adam Boyd
