RECRUITMENT OF PLAYER/COACH/CHIEF EXECUTIVE DESIGNATE
Douglas Rugby Club (“Douglas”) are seeking to recruit their first ever player/coach. This will be a full time position and Douglas envisage the successful candidate will also lead the Club’s management structure in accordance with the attached job description. The successful candidate will be an excellent player having competed at a good standard of rugby and will be committed to an ongoing career in rugby. Clear leadership skills will be essential.
Background to the Club
Douglas are the leading rugby club in the Isle of Man competing in RFU League South Lancs/Cheshire League 1. The Club is small, but ambitious and seeking to develop in all areas – promotion for the 1st team, recruitment of senior players for the 2nd team and the development of a 3rd team. The Club has a strong desire to grow its Junior Section and develop better links with the Island’s schools.
Holiday Entitlement
Four weeks per annum to be taken without hindering Club objectives (envisaged most holidays will be taken over the Christmas period and during the summer months)
