Shortie’s Celts made hard work of the plucky Vikings, but perhaps the much changed side took a while to bed in. Celts were 0-7 down after ten minutes but by half time thanks to tries from coach Seb Jeanneau, Ash Morley and Charlie Henthorn, Celts lead 10-19. Shortie turned the wick up after the break and Mike Osbourne (2) and the rapid Andy Vernon-Browne ensured the result, with AV-B adding four conversions.
